To help its members tackle new economic, regulatory, environmental and social challenges, EVOLIS supports manufacturers across all key areas of their business.
The experts at EVOLIS provide analysis of current affairs, offer a wealth of information and answer members’ questions in their areas of expertise (regulation, standardisation, economics, public affairs, taxation, legal matters, the environment, exports, HR, etc.), with support from the FIM in certain areas.
EVOLIS works with leading partners in their respective fields (grant applications, R&D funding and co-financing, credit insurance, procurement and overheads, etc.) to provide business support to its member companies.
Despite their presence across all sectors of the economy, machinery and equipment are nevertheless underappreciated and suffer from the same outdated image as industry in general.
To change the way the general public, the media and policy-makers view the industry, EVOLIS develops tools (websites) and awareness campaigns, and runs large-scale advocacy initiatives such as ‘Robotcaliser’ (2005), “Productivez” (2021) and “ROBOT Start PME” (2013–2017).
Our aim is to dispel preconceived notions about the industry by highlighting the modernity of our factories, technological advancements, the digitalisation of processes, the appeal of the various roles within the sector, and the positive impact of machinery and capital goods on the environment, employment and the country’s economy.
The launch of the ‘Industry of the Future’ initiative (2021), strongly supported by EVOLIS, has helped to raise awareness of and gain recognition for the vital role played by production equipment in the modernisation of French industry.
Against a backdrop of major transformation, industry lies at the heart of numerous challenges, ranging from the digital revolution and the environmental transition to national sovereignty. As manufacturers of industrial equipment, machinery and solutions, EVOLIS members are key players in the industrial value chain and provide essential solutions to address the transformation challenges facing the main industrial sectors.
EVOLIS plays an active role in shaping industrial policies that benefit its members. Our proposals have led to the introduction of several measures to support productive investment, such as accelerated depreciation (2015–2017 and 2019–2020) and the ‘Industry of the Future’ grant (2020 and 2021).
EVOLIS is a founding member of the Alliance Industrie du futur (2005), which organises and coordinates projects aimed at transforming, modernising and digitising French industry for the benefit of all other sectors.
To understand and anticipate their transformation needs, EVOLIS works with user sectors within S-I-F to offer them high-tech, environmentally friendly solutions that address current challenges, whether economic or environmental.
